Here are the success stories of our students:

Dear Dr. Chae, Thank you for all the help you gave me and everything you taught me these last couple of months. I really appreciate all of your hardwork and dedication. I would not have been able to score this well without your help. Again, thank you! I wish you the best of luck. Regards, (Arianna Noya, Columbia University, Ronald W. Reagon/Doral High School)

Thank you, Dr.Chae for all you have taught Arianna. You are a wonderful teacher/tutor/professor and a great person. We appreciate you a lot. Blessings, (Sonia, Arianna’s mom)

Dr. Chae is a miracle worker. He knows what he is doing. I am horrible at math. It is difficult for me to understand, especially SAT problems. Dr. Chae made the problems understandable. After a few hours I started correcting myself before he even said anything. I reached the score I needed because of his tutoring. I recommend going to Dr. Chae for a long time. The longer your with him the more your score improves. I was with Dr.Chae for a month and my math score went up 70 points. (Dylan Schlesinger, Brooklyn Law School, Palmetto Senior High School)

Hi Dr. Chae!! It’s Shiori and I just received my SAT score for Math Level-1 today. It says on College Board that I got an 800 perfect score. Yayy!!! :)) Thank you so much for all your support!! I would definitely recommend that more people get into contact you. (Shiori Sageshima, Rice University, Gulliver Preparatory School)

Dear Dr. Chae, Thank you very much for helping me to prepare for the GRE test. After taking Dr. Chae’s Math course my points increased by over 100. I also took Dr. Chae’s suggestion to purchase a GRE Word book and study from that. I scored 600 on the verbal, an increase of over 200 points. Thank you and keep up the great job. I needed Dr. Chae’s expertise because I did not do well in Math in high school. I must tell you that I was resistant, at first, but I enjoyed the Math problems especially when I got them right. It could be a lot of fun! Happy Easter! (Beverly Fray, PhD,  FIU, GRE Prep)

Hi Dr. Chae, I wanted to thank you very much for my Math help. I learned so much from your class. Now I am able to understand so much in my Pre-Calculus class including SAT test prep. I actually received almost an A on the midterm. I am glad that I have taken you for tutoring. You not only help me with the testing but also how to be organized. I learned how to approach the questions to find the answer in easy and simple way rather than just memorizing them. Thank you again for everything you advised in class. Sincerely, (Natalia Montana, Ronald W. Reagan/Doral High School)

Math was a subject that was very difficult for me in the past, and a below-average foundation for it led to my poor understanding of it. Therefore I struggled in school and in other math-related activities. When it came to the SATs, my mind was blank; I had no expectations of its math component being so tricky. Without a doubt, I was very discouraged when it came to math. My turning point came when someone introduced me to Dr. Chae’s private tutoring classes, which drastically improved my thinking abilities and helped me to acquire a math-oriented mind. With just months of tutoring, I was able to score a perfect score on the Math IIC SAT subject test as well as an 800 on the regular SAT math, all in my sophomore year! With Dr. Chae’s guidance, I was able to grasp a love for math: from then on, I won numerous awards, including 6th place in Calculus individuals in regional competitions, semifinalist status in the United States of America Mathematics Olympiad, and the entitlement of the most outstanding mathematician in my school. I am honored to say that I am currently ranked the 4th best mathematician in Miami-Dade County. With a goal-driven mind, and persistence to never give up, anybody could succeed with Dr. Chae’s tutelage—I live as one example. (Harvard University, Joseph Moon, Palmetto Senior High School)

Hi Dr. Chae!  This is Kai Ito. I want to thank you so much for everything. I officially decided to attend University of Miami. I was fortunate to be accepted at University of Michigan. And I was waitlisted at Harvard College and Johns Hopkins University. I couldn’t get into Harvard and I decided that I didn't want to attend Johns Hopkins. So I thought UM was the best choice. UM was kind enough to give me $27,000 per year scholarship. My family is really happy with UM. Thank you so much for everything. Again, I would not have been able to receive this opportunity without you. You are truly the best tutor Have a wonderful summer! And please say hi to your wonderful family. I miss you, Dr. Chae! (Kai Ito, University of Miami, Gulliver Preparatory School)

The Turbo-Test-Taking center has been a very good investment for my future. When I first began, I performed poorly during practice; and was therefore, very intimidated by the test. After a few months of class I was able to see a big improvement in my confidence and understanding of the SAT. Dr. Chae and I have sat down for an hour and a half every Tuesday to tackle down all the problems that have posed a possible barrier to a high score. Today, my performance level during SAT class has improved greatly, and I qualified for the National Merit Scholarship on the PSAT. Through practice I have learned the many ways and tricks of this lengthy and intimidating standardized test. Now, I am getting ready to take the real SAT’s and I am very confident that I will do well. As opposed to a few months ago, SAT math is simple and objective. I have learned not to fear the test, but to be confident and believe in what your knowledge holds. (Carnegie Mellon University, Michelle Ruiz, Fergusson Senior High School)

Studying with Dr. Chae was really helpful because I was able to constantly practice testing and get a better understanding of the content I needed to learn for the test. Doing mock tests also helped me with maintaining my time constraint and allowed me to answer questions at a solid pace. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and assistance I received from Dr. Chae throughout my preparation for the Math 2 subject test.

Hey Dr.Chae, It's Sebastian Quintero. I just wanted to let you know that I got into MIT! Thanks so much again for helping me. I am so grateful and now have these opportunities because of it.

Dr. Chae's test prep was wonderful and thorough. He takes his time with students to understand their different weaknesses. Dr. Chae is always available for his students, even through text message. He has developed his own test prep methods for his students to succeed with. (Nathan Pritchett, Certified Public Accountant, Florida International University, GMAT Prep)

Dear Dr. Chae,
Just wanted to wish you and yours a happy new year! Thank you for all that you did in helping me prepare for the GRE. As you remember I came in having forgotten how to do long division but ended up scoring higher than I thought possible on the math section. But more than my scores I gained some much needed self-confidence, which will be invaluable as I begin grad school. Thanks again for all your help! Best, (Kenneth Merrill, Doctoral Fellow at American University, School of Communication, GRE Prep)

Dear Dr. Chae, I am writing this letter to thank you from the bottom of heart for being Soum’s SAT-Math teacher for the last three years. As Soum told you, Soum received 770 in SAT-Math, 790 in SAT Math 2-Level 1 and 800 on SAT-Math 2-Level-2. In everyone’s life there is one teacher that makes a difference and is never forgotten. And I know, you are that teacher in Soum’s life. Not only Soum, but Soum’s father and I will never forget the dedication with which you taught math to Soum. Math is a subject that is difficult and tedious for most students, because it is seldom taught well. You made math interesting for Soum and truly taught him the meaning, “Practice makes a man perfect”. I still remember the first day when I brought Soum to your office; Soum was completing his 9th grade. Having completed my undergraduate education in India, I didn’t have a whole lot of knowledge about the SAT and college admission procedure. You patiently explained the entire process to us. I was most amazed when you showed us how you track each of your student’s progress, one test at a time over the entire period of time the student is learning under you. Until then, the SAT teachers/college counselors, whom I had met, boasted of their success and told us stories about their brightest students. Unlike them, you were tracking each student’s progress week by week. At that moment I realized that we had found the best teacher/mentor for Soum. SAT tests are sometimes tricky for most students because between high school classes, AP exams, extracurricular activities and social life, there is very little time to prepare for these tests. It requires dedication and discipline. It was therefore so amazing that each week you gave homework to Soum – several packets of tests and problems and then corrected them meticulously. It must be so hard for you to do this for every student. I knew it was so much sacrifice on your and your family’s part to spend that amount time and effort on each student. In my opinion, this constant practice and your one-one-one attention to Soum were the only reasons why Soum did so well in all the SAT tests. I am also touched with the affection and kindness shown to Soum not just by you but by your entire family. Soum never wanted to miss a class, no matter what he had to do on each Saturday. He would miss social functions, readjusted school extracurricular activities so he wouldn’t miss your class. He was most happy when you felt that he was doing well. I often talk to Soum about you and he has nothing but utmost respect for you. I know he will never forget you. In closing, my heart is heavy because Soum will no longer go to your class. I just wish if Soum stays in Miami for college, somehow, you will continue to teach him – college level math or statistics – one never wants to say “Goodbye” to a great teacher. Again, thank you for teaching Soum. You are one of the most wonderful teachers under whose tutelage Soum had the fortune to learn. Please feel free to distribute this e-mail to the parents of prospective students and I will continue to tell about your wonderful teaching to my friends and colleagues. Thank you very much. With highest regards, Soum Lokeshwar’s Mother (Vinata B. Lokeshwar, Ph.D. Professor and Chair in Medical College of Georgia. Former  Professor U. of Miami, Miller School of Medicine)

I liked/enjoyed Dr. Chae's classes. Usually other tutors just let you do a packet or two and just correct them. And that's it. They stop there and I start another packet. However, these classes do not just stop there, they continue to show up. Whether I remember the question is not the point, I thoroughly understood the process to solve them so when I see another similar problem, I am able to solve it the correct way. Although it may be tedious sometimes, thinking about what I can gain out of this is motivation. Dr. Chae helps you getting into your desired colleges. (Haiyun Zhu, Boston College, Gulliver Preparatory School)

Respected Dr. Chae,

Thank you so much for taking Sachin under your guidance. Sachin has a great experience with you not only for math but also LIFE as such! He learned a lot and thanks for being such a wonderful teacher, mentor, and strong influence in his life! With lots of appreciations and thanks, The Parekhs (Sachin Parekh, New York University, Gulliver Preparatory School)

Dr.Chae changed my life in a matter of 3 months by bettering my skills at test taking. I improved about 150 points in a matter of a few months and I know I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for his constant dedication of teaching me and always pushing me to do harder. In between talks about life and how to excel in life no matter what obstacles one might face, and between non-stop math problems solving, those 1 hour and halves of every week definitely changed my life!!! And I couldn't be happier with my improvement!!  (Diana Palacios, University of Florida, Ronald W. Reagan/Doral High School)

Dr. Chae has helped me improve my score. I improved 100 points in a really short time period. He will remain patient with you and explain the material as well as possible even if you don't understand it. Also, he only works with packets directly from practice tests and SAT/ACT (or PSAT or whatever you're looking for) so the math is directly what is found on the test, not just math problems in general. He has really helped me improve and I trust him 100% that my score will improve. Totally recommend! (Cecilia Derlon, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Gulliver Preparatory School, 2020)

Dear Dr. Chae, Thank you so much for giving me the gift of knowledge. Words cannot describe how you have impacted my life, and I hope one day I will be able to educate a child as you did for me. You and your lessons will be in my heart and Merry Christmas to you. Respectfully, (Soum Lokeshwar, U of Miami, Medical School, Palmetto Senior High School)

Dr. Chae was an amazing tutor that helped raise my math score from a 590 to a 710. Even during the pandemic we were able to have classes online so I didn't have to stop tutoring. He is a great teacher and always tries to show you the easiest ways to solve things. I recommend him to anyone who is trying to get a better math score on the SAT. (Agustin Stacey, University of Florida, Saint Brendan High School, 2020)

Dear Dr. Chae. Just wanted to give you an update. Carina got accepted to the University of Chicago. She is going to U Chicago with both a scholar and presidential scholarship. Thank you very much for all your help with her. Best regards, (Miguel Villalona, Carina's father, University of Chicago, 2022)

Thank you so much Dr. Chae for all the help! I have really enjoyed improving on my math with you this year and I cannot recommend you enough for other students. And yes I will definitely go over what we have done so far! Thank you, (Danny Schaffer, SAT Math 790, 10th Grade)

Hi Dr. Chae. I just wanted to let you know that after reviewing the work that I did with you for a few weeks, I got a 35 on the ACT math section. Thank you so much for your help!! This wouldn't have been possible without you! (Laura Rovira, Gulliver prep, ACT Math 35, 11th Grade)
